The SDI (software development invitational) National finals was held in Bangalore on 9th May 2008 where 8 best teams of India competed to secure a flight to Paris for the Imagine Cup International Finals.

  • The User group meet of bdotnetstudent group was held in the Krishna Hall, Microsoft GTSC building, Domlur. I took a session on Introduction to dotnet framework. Lakshman, the MSP from PESSE took a session on Introduction to Robotics Studio.

  • All MSPs from Bangalore met at Krishna Hall, Microsoft GTSC building at the User Group Meet where I presented a keynote onMicrosoft Surface Table. Also the selection of the future MSP (Microsoft Student Partner) for RVCE and PESIT took place.

  • Arduino is a Open-Source hardware and software platform to aid physical computing, robotics etc. On behalf of Techsouls, a startup by 5 passionate engineers from NIT-K, a hands-on-labs/workshop on Indian version of Arduino, the FLEXI had been organized in PESIT. As a part of the workshop, the participants were asked to do some innovative project on the FLEXI board.

  • I had been invited as a Judge for a Mega Dance event conducted by Sindhi College, Hebbal on behalf of their Intercollegiate college fest, Crescendo 2008.  There were about 22 teams, each team doing better than the rest.

  • I danced to a Bollywood number (Mauja hi Mauja from the movie Jab We Met) at the end of the Dance competition.

  • Sanskrithi, the Contemporary Dance Troupe of PES Institute Of Technology has been chosen for a Cultural Exchange Tour to USA, hosted by Indiana University of Pennsylvania
